cfaulkie June 2, 2014Kuttawa is a small town in Western Kentucky that was relocated in the 60s as a result of dam construction on the Cumberland River at Grand Rivers. The town has been rebuilding its economy to promote tourism and water activities on Lake Barkley. HBD was approached by a small design agency in Kuttawa, Kentucky to create a web redesign for their city government’s website to promote recreation and serve as a reference for residents.
Campaigning for Justice

The book on interviews with dozens with experienced human rights advocates to explain how they were able to fight seemingly intractable abuses and secure concrete advances in human rights.”
Author and Professor at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, Jo Becker asked hmmbird Design for a very minimal and clean website to promote her book Campaigning for Justice. Jo provided the written content and her photo. The project involved creating book mockups, a banner, photo editing, and web design. The site is a small customized WP theme to promote her book and is responsive for best reading on all devices.
