What is with the Hmm... Bird?

Hmm, well...hmmbird design is about thoughtful consideration when working with people, best practices in design and being environmentally conscious.

After working in the counseling and social service field for many years and learning a few more life lessons, I realize how important communication and listening can be to success. I am pretty unassuming and approachable, so please do call me up if you have any questions.

Also, If I could move at the speed of technology, I would. Until I perfect this super bird power I remain at least current on the latest web standards and design software.

As for being environmentally conscious ... I make every effort to reduce waste and use sustainable resources by using paperless billing and contracts, using wind powered servers and connecting clients low cost environmental printers.

About Me

My name is Christa Faulkner and I am the graphic & web designer behind hmmbird design. I have been creating art and designing for over 10 years.

I am originally from Lexington, KY and moved to Louisville to attend U of L's Graduate Program in Art Therapy. After working for 7 years by day as Art Therapist and designing at night, I decided to pursue my creative talents full time.

I have a BA in studio art from EKU and love all things creative. I keep up with art and photography in my free time and if I am not on the computer or creating then I am probably hiking.
